One Organizer, So Many Possibilities

2 minutes

What I love most about cube organizers is that they’re not just for one room.

You can use them practically anywhere, and the best part is that you can change them around as your family’s needs change.

In my house, it’s all about keeping school and hockey organized.

One cube for schoolbooks, another for school clothes, and another for extra hockey tape, laces, and all those little things that somehow become emergencies five minutes before leaving for practice.

And the fabric storage bins? Love them.

You can hide all the little things that don’t necessarily need to be on display. Everything looks neat, even when the bins are full of random hockey supplies.

Organized on the outside. Controlled chaos on the inside. My kind of system. 😂

But what I really love is how many different ways you can use these organizers.

In the kids’ bedrooms: Books, clothes, toys, accessories, and all those things that never seem to have a proper home.

In the entryway: Hats, gloves, scarves, school supplies, and the million little things everyone drops when they walk through the door.

In the playroom: Toys, games, crafts, and books. Add some colourful bins, and suddenly everything looks like it belongs there.

In the living room: Blankets, books, and decorative baskets. Choose bins that match your furniture, and it can actually look like part of your decor.

And here’s my favourite part.

You don’t need to spend a fortune making everything look organized.

Cube organizers come in different sizes, colours, and styles. You can choose fabric bins, woven baskets, or leave some cubes open for books and decorations.

You can even mix and match.

Want a clean, modern look? Go with matching neutral bins.

Something warmer and cozier? Try woven baskets.

Organizing a child’s room? Add colourful bins.

Same basic organizer. Completely different look.

And if you’re anything like me, there’s something ridiculously satisfying about standing back and admiring everything once it’s organized.

Even if you know you’ll be the one putting everything back tomorrow.

But at least now everything has a home. And more importantly, Mom knows exactly where that home is. 😂

My Organizing Must-Haves

  • 9-cube organizer — The base of the whole system. Schoolbooks, school clothes, hockey tape. One cube each.
  • Fabric storage bins — Organized on the outside. Controlled chaos on the inside.
  • Woven baskets — For a warmer, cozier look in the living room.
  • Colourful kids’ bins — For the playroom and kids’ rooms, so everything looks like it belongs there.
